I had an immensly unlucky thing like this at a gig on Friday.....
Stuck my bottle of water on the surface next to the decks, wasn't really taking much notice of it, it got wobbled off the surface landed on the side of my record bag, and somehow, managed to snap the needle on my ortofon (which I didnt even fucking use that night) so I gotta buy a new one.
FML.
40 fucking quid for a new one too.
