different strokes for different folks i suppose. personally i think 99% of the angry jump up stuff is utter shite, but people spunk their pants over it on here

I do feel tho that if u put a bass wobble over any tune people are calling it sick and asking for a 320.

At one point, I was downloading *everything*, and I mean it, everything from the dubs section.

I would say that one out of 150 tunes that I downloaded from the dubs sub-forum was to my liking.

Today I suffer from dub forum fatigue. I don't even bother anymore. There is so much crap to go through... the mere thought of yet another spastic wobbler keeps me well away from this part of the site. Which is not fair, because there are real gems just waiting to be discovered.

People should start putting NAW in the thread title if it's not a wobbler :P

what i find sad is that people aren't willing to accept that their tunes may be crap. they'd rather call everyone hater instead. as if everyone's going to be skream or benga straight away on their first tunes? it doesn't work like that. its pretty alarming when you have a whole lot of fragile producers out there that refuse to take a critique, but then ask to be noticed in the same breath.

Yeah true. I've got hundreds of tunes that are proper shit. And my tunes i've got on soundcloud are no benga or skream or anyone that is actually god. Lol. But im just having fun with what i can make. I find that if someone says the song shit then i do get pissed off with that. Its just not constructive. If they say is a big shit but this is what u could do to improve it that much more helpful.

Seems there's no such thing as constructive criticism if it identifies any fault.
Only glowing praise tends to be acknowledged
which disuades me from giving an honest opinion about tracks that might just need a tweek.
To be expected I suppose with the delicate egos of genii.

practice make perfect ... i listen for potential

not every tune anyone writes is going to be a banger b/c music just doesnt happen like that lol

if you get dissed over a tune look @ who the comments comming from ... is it a producer or wanna be and listen to what people say its up to you if you pay attention

if you know your musics good you wouldnt get wound up by a one off comment coming from someone who's not feeling it .... if your musics pooh ill tell you so but @ the same time suggest way to improve it

and if its a banger ill most def let you know :P

i dont say anything if the tune is complete shite tho people should realise their levels arnt good and look for tutorials rather than being lazy and big headed let your music do the talking ... if its good enough to

so this thread is about the people who request 320s of tunes you don't care for?

and their motivation for requesting copies of tunes you don't care for?

Checked out the top couple of threads, seems to be mostly novelty bass chucked under a shit beat with no melody. Pretty much what alot of people now consider dubstep to be. Damn shame.

This probably isn't the best place to bring it up, but it seems like every single 'style' of 'dubstep' is being hated on at the moment. What is considered 'good' or 'real' 'dubstep'? I'm not sure what I should be liking.

If you follow what is said in this forum, you will like nothing. I suggest chosing your own route.

It's a decent forum in my opinion, everyones there for the same reason to get feedback on their music. I dont like when people ask me for a 320 without commenting on the tune though, if i post i will always say one thing etc
