FRENIC (Dealmaker Records//Penguin Dance) Frenic started DJing 12 years ago- both hip hop and drum and bass. In 2003 Frenic came second in the Movement dnb DJ competition to a then unknown DJ JFB. Since then, he has added dubstep, breaks, electro and anything that will rock the dance floor to his arsenal of booty shaking weapons, combining them with his turntablist skills to devastating effect. Some of his productions reflect the more down tempo side of his musicality, fusing beautiful atmospherics and vocals with hip hop beats, others keep the high tempo rolling throughout. www.myspace.com/djfrenic

EDDIE K (Stereotype//H.E.N.C.H) Starting out as a DJ aged 16, Eddie has gone on to release two double sided drum and bass releases on Stereotype, and one double sided H.E.N.C.H release with the massive ‘Who’s The Hardest?’ backed with ‘The Shivers’. Eddie’s DJ style is fast and furious, quick mixing and a fierce selection of jump up drum and bass and dubstep. www.myspace.com/djeddiekuk

INTERFACE
(Audio Zoo//Clear Skyz//Chronic//Lockdown) Originally a four man operation, Interface has now slimmed down to just one. Working night and day has allowed Sam to gets his tunes on top labels Audio Zoo, Clear Skyz and more. His latest single ‘Get Low’ has been smashing dancefloors across the country for months and had full A-list DJ support. www.myspace.com/interfacednb

ASBO
(Penguin Dance) ASBO is one the best DJs in Bristol and that also means the country. He can tear up any venue and is just as happy playing drum and bass as electro or dubstep. The most versatile and technical DJ, he creates undeniable carnage wherever he goes! Check his legendary mix series, you won’t be disappointed! www.myspace.com/theasbodisco

STATIX (Screwloose//Rottun) Having been a the scene less than a year, these guys are taking over! Bookings have flown in from Germany, Barcelona and all over the South-West and Mary Anne Hobbs has featured them on her show to do an exclusive minimix in July and used one of their tunes in her Sonar 2009 film. A-list support has been strong and the hype behind this outfit is more than justified!

FOO artists are proud to announce that we have now added to our already excellent roster. We are now representing Chasing Shadows (H.E.N.C.H) and The McMash Clan (Braindrop).

CHASING SHADOWS
(H.E.N.C.H.)

With the massive It Was Written, Chasing Shadows’ dark production style broke through. Having now had two double sided H.E.N.C.H releases;
Dr Sin/ The End and Ill/Amirah and with some massive tunes ready to drop, these talented producers will be household names very soon.

THE MCMASH CLAN
(Braindrop)

The McMash Clan are Dudgy (Doug Gibson), Hallmark (Chris Hall) and Majorkooms (Kumar Grant) - a unique, exciting and very technical 3 man DJ team based in London. Having combined forces in 2005, the trio have intensely focused on DJing as an artform. Pushing creative and technical boundaries, they create epic turntablist rave sets designed to smash dance floors.
The Clan use 4 turntables, 2 CDJs, 2 mixers and a Kaoss Pad 3. They are best known for their meticulously planned musical journeys; each bar is pre-planned as they cut, scratch, juggle, triple drop and re-edit their way through dubstep, d&b, bassline, techno, hardcore, electro, jungle, gabba, hip hop, reggae, breakcore and psytrance. They've dubbed this style "Turntablecore".

Having established this performance style they have increasingly focused on production. Like their sets, their own tunes draw on many different musical styles – with the sole aim of smashing dancefloors to pieces.
