propellerhead reason record

Post by steveydubz » Tue Sep 08, 2009 2:07 pm

I think there is already a thread on this but i cant find it so .. .
Just wondered if anyones got this yet? and if you have how are you finding it and is it worth getting?

also can you record into it and open up acapella etc to use with reason in it or is just an advanced way of mixing down your tunes in reason?

Must... resist.... slagging.... Propellerheads..... :(

It allows users to record anything and use that recording in Reason. Check out the Propellerheads website for more details.

Or download a proper audio recorder dammit!

it was very resource hungry i.m.o and not worth it.

should have been a standard feature since day 1 -

too little too late to try and expand on what reason does, especialy having to pay for the privelage!

I wasn't highly keen on it for electronic production but I liked what they've done for recording purposes and how it handles audio.

Thats exactly what I think, plus a dongle = not worth it.
I might get it one day when I got some money laying around, just because I have been using Reason forever and would love to run live audio thru the scream, or use the vocoder the way it was meant to be used.
Hey maybe now we can sample with the samplers.

I was in on the beta, didn't like it. If you're using Reason or have been using Reason by itself for a year or two, I'd recommend checking it out, though.
