Re: TDBZ - In the Deep End | Sept 09 Promo
I really embrace it all. There's a time and a place for everything. Though much of today's Dubstep has gotten hard and Heavy Metalish (being an old school metal head I really don't mind) I've really just fallen in Love with our music. All of it. From the Deep to the Bangers. Everything in between. You will hear it in my sets.
Being a part of Gritsy, which I feel blessed to have been asked to be a part of last year, we have DJ's that play all the various style's and elements of Dubstep. I have been privy to Suraj K and SINES, which I know those in the know understand, continue to push the deeper side of things. Each in their own ways.
Suraj K delves Heavy every now and again. But still Soulful Deep Heavy. You won't catch a chainsaw from a Suraj K set, though I have heard him do a Caspa track here or there, it's a very refined and defined classic Heavyness.
SINES on the other hand tend to have a Deep yet Krunk sound that they continue to champion as a dynamic duo that they are known to be. Both as DJ's and Producers. You can hear their musical influences like the Hip-Hop-ey or Techno-ey tracks they forge their sound with.
Thanks Trenchant! It means alot to me.
I find myself under the influence of all of you. The Dubstep Massive. Am just glad, and honored, to be a part of it.
Thanks everyone! BIG UP! I'll see ya'LL soon!
