about ten years ago :(

I gave up smoked de herb a month or so ago, great decision, but find it much harder to get in the vibe as it were, just need to rethink my approach. Married and working full time means it has to be evenings or weekends when i get time, but seem to have been really busy recently, so not had much chance to do stuff. B2B having loads of computer problems ive needed to sort out means i havent had time to do much at all recently.

Hopefully will sort itself out soon.

IMO Best not to force it, nothing more frustrating than wasting a few hours and not getting anywhere, if youre not in the mood, go for a walk (if bloody shite british summer allows), watch a film, read a book etc...

I tried to make music back when I used to smoke the herb, but it wanst really my thing. I ended up listen to the tune which i made, loaded rather than being productive  . Alcohol doesn't help much either, though I still have some beers when producing, not always tho.

when shit runs smooth. like right now is mad stress....it takes up more of my imagination, if that makes sense. I can't finish this tune until I sort out other shit first.

After a long spell of writer's block. Or a few hours into a general fucking about in abletron.

But my mind never stops playing endless random tunes. It grabbing them and zoning in on them that's the problem.

Right now, as another day begins, rolling onto mah keyz like a mentally deficient rock of moss.

Fucked-ness aside though, my creativity flows right out waaaaaaaaay past my bed time. Specifically at the point of sunrise when the cockadoodlebird does his cockadoodleting. When he crows is when shit flows, and by that time it's pretty much time for work... bad. bad. sleeping pattern.
when i need a cigarette for some reason
Always! I come out with a ton of ideas/melodies/loops during the rolling (backy man!) process, go smoke my stick, and when I get back it's aaaall gone.

@youthful_implants: drugs are bad, because it always ends up being 10am when the sun comes up again and all you've done is a 7 minute recording of synth trials and key melodies, and you seem to always find yourself typing shit loads of bollocks, be it facebook, text, hell... maybe even the DSF...
