Feedback / constructive criticism wanted...

Post by dj n/a » Tue Sep 08, 2009 10:27 pm

Yo, just uploaded a new tune into my soundcloud player.

Just started writing really, and would like a few opinions / constructive criticism on the material.

It's a bit of a work in progress but... here's the link

Cheers.

Liked it up until the bass kicked in. The bass kinda masks the rest of the tune which is a shame cause there are some interesting ideas in there.

Yeah - I'm a bit dubious about the bass... I have the issue of having to mix my tracks through a pair of shoddy (and I mean SHODDY!) old speakers - so I think that's got a lot to do with it.

I'm currently on the hunt for some decent studio monitors, so I'm guessing I'll hear the track in a whole new light once I get them up and running.

Thanks for the feedback though! :)

More welcome people 8)
