I had to check this out... quite a fan of mixing and matching styles. I'm not so much into the uber-masculine ravey dubstep sound so I can overlook the tracks that I simply don't like.
the vocal tracks are 50/50 hit/miss for me. some of the vocalists magnify everything I despise about the 'scene' - gnarly, self-gratifying lyrics like 'suck my dick, Murs for president' - while others are completely genius and worth the venture alone, like Grouch, Droop-E & Silkie (hotness!!) & DymeDef & Starkey.
overall I'm disappointed such a rich idea turned out to simply reinforce the status quo, but as usual there are some gems so I'll keep my eye on this project. thanks for your efforts dubstep LA, I'm a finicky one so this is likely the best you could expect from me

Staypuft I had similar sentiments, but I actually like the Murs tune. For me it was a bit more 70/30 hit/miss, but I get what you're saying. blogged it up: http://bomborafallout.blogspot.com/2009 ... ep-la.html
