Dubstep is a half time, bass centred electronic music genre, including influences from a fusion of UK Garage and Reggae/Dub.

Steppy catchy beats influened by garage with infused with the wonderful sounds of dub, seeing as there is no new dubstep that combines these two elements being released these days things have quite obviously evolved greatly.
