now all we need are some custom bbcodes so people can embed mp3 players right in the post..

i use one and its fucking awesome

it uses google for the embedded player...

it works like this

rapid share and stuff like that wont work

although youtube threads can get resource heavy on peoples browsers.... the last thing we want is another myspace profile style browser killer lol...

For the record, this is not dubway posting, it's the Forum Tech support, on the last 5 messages. Sorry for any confusion. We preferred to make these required changes fast, dubway will decide on the final changes and add/remove anything, if necessary.

You have successfully fulfilled every major gripe I've had with DSF since I've come here in one single update.

Ignore feature, Youtube vids, posting of mp3s in posts... I am not ashamed to admit I'm a bit hard over this.

Not the case, because videos consume browser resources only when rendered in the browser window, thus only when visible and mostly when the video is being reproduced, not when the video player is "idle". In a Forum post, videos may be here and there, so 1-2 could be mostly visible at any time. Also, the user cannot decide on the video player dimensions, so it will always be that size. The *real* dubway may decide to remove this functionality, after all.

I promise there will be angry torch weilding mobs if this is so. I'd rather donate to a server fund and keep the ignore feature and youtube feature. Best additions to this forum EVER. We've been begging for time.
