Very pleased to announce the arrival of Swagga.. A new Monthly night dedicated to the heavy Basslines of Dubstep, Glitch Hop and Underground Beats showcasing Australian djs and producers.

Each month featuring a guest from interstate and a couple of local guests alongside Resident Dj’s STRIFE, MACRO & EVN.

First installment – Friday November 6th @ L!VE

The Abyss are : Boot [Terminal Dusk//Betamorph//Digital Mixdown] & Sook [Rottun//Betamorph]

Info on the lads...
Boot & Sook write music because they have to, they seriously wouldn't know what to do with themselves if they didn't. No similes, allegories or waffling flowery statements are needed to describe the sound: Badass teched out take your pants off dancefloor punk filth plain and simple!

Their sets consists of their own funked out filthiness combined with some of the most ridiculous dubs on the circuit from some of the most mindbendingly disgusting producers on the planet.

The Abyss have several releases out and forthcoming on some of dubstep's most established and fastest upcoming labels such as Sook's huge powerfilth tracks End Of Time & The New Bleak on Rottun, Boot's haunting Satellite forthcoming on Terminal Dusk & a filthy remix of Secateur's Metalizer for Brisbane label Digital Mixdown. They've also got a split EP forthcoming on Betamorph containing solo and collab tracks from both the boys.

Boot & Sook have had DJ and Radio support from artists such as Excision, Droid Sector, Triage, Garage Pressure, Sub Bass Snarl, Twisted, Dubtek, Dank Dealz, Western Synthetics, Phaded, Datsik, Sick Cycle, Innasekt, Suspect, Vaski, Paranoise and Current Value.

The boys have supported the likes of Reso, Seven, Balkansky, Garage Pressure, Mark Pritchard, Calyx & Teebee, Phace, Misanthrop, Raiden, Spor, Ewun, Gridlok, Storm, Klute, Mark Pritchard, Temper D, Impact, Dose, C4C and Telemetrik,

They've also been regulars at many events/riots/paddywagons around Sydney including the infamous DSS Warehouse parties, Void, No Frills, Konkrete Jungle, DNBBQ, Suck It Up, MITC, Greenbeats and Inhale.

Great news. Swagga now has a weekly show on Sub.fm to go along with the night. We'll be showcasing some of Adelaide's finest dubsteppers and hopefully give ya's all a glipse via recordings of the night (with the artist permission of course).

So tune in under 24 hours for some fresh dubstep mixed from Adelaide, might even chuck 1 or 2 of my own tunes in. If we're lucky, Strife will be in to have a mix in the 2nd hour. Less than a week to the Swagga kick off, so get struttin...
