went to a dnb/dubstep night last night only to find most of the dj's in the dubstep sideroom sucked, absolutely no better than i am, and absolutely no flow (cept for ultraviolet, thank you! (at least i think thats who it was)). sure the dj's were trading off every few songs which could make it more difficult to keep/build a mood, but it was like everyone was always trying to play their biggest, newest, loudest track when their turn came up (once again, except for one guy who pulled out Skeng, which seemd to be the only Pre-2009 track played all night).


its just frustrating that people show up for something like this, while im in sacramento struggling to pull in an audience, knowing i play better. and im not being cocky, im just telling the truth based on what i heard last night.

I did this the other day... it made me happy though - I have a week off.

I did something like this on friday! After psychology i went home thinking it was my lunch break, then just getting off the bus i thought "FUCK, wasn't biology supposed to start now and THEN lunch break!!"

Got in and started frantically tring to phone the college but couldn't get through to the right department, took a break to take a closer look at my timetable to find out it WAS my lunch break afterall . Ran out the house lucky enough to catch a bus that was already there and with 20 minutes left to get back, i had the moment where i looked like the most unpredicatable and on edge person there with a crazy look of desperate impatience on my face, as i begin to notice everything unlikely that seemed to happen in sequence all the way up the bristol road. Luckily i got there 1minute late , but fucking hell .. lol.


..Telling you that story was the high point of my day. Guess i'll go gamble.
