do i need a soundcard to use cubase studio 4!!?

think the topic pretty much sums up my question. know i need to get one ASAP but can i manage without one for the moment? cant figure out how to wire up my inputs and outputs, even with the help of the manual... :cry:

No soundcard = No sound.

Im pretty amazed you even thought about producing without sound.

You could use your onboard sound to an extent (if you have onboard), but yeah your gonna need a semi-pro soundcard to use the software properly, this will also depend on how powerful your pc is too.

What inputs and outputs do you mean?

He's probably on about a professional soundcard.

As far as I know - no, but you'll have biiig audio latency.
