intresting topic, i always get asked what it is and i never know how to descrbe it
i just say "slow drum and bass with weird basslines but you have to listen to it"
but i also read the skream intervew and he described it as "urban folk music"
i will have think about this one...

yeah but skream definitely wasn't the first one to use the phrase "urban folk music" to apply to EDM. watch the moonshine over america DVD from like 1998... there's a DJ in there who uses those exact same words ...
