i think the "main room" is set up that way since the fashion show and the group lecture/speech with Alex Grey are both in there so the idea is thats more the mellow room, and the 2nd room is more upbeat dance stuff. As for the afterparty...looks like a sick afterparty too me. Was a lil weird how they promoted the talent all together and then sold 2 tickets for a separate main event and afterparty, but i believe that was a change the venue made. Theyve just remodled and im guessing they had to change it to two parties to stay legal with their permits since the two spaces are probably permitted seperatly (one has booze, the other has no booze but is an afterhours club that can stay open late). The city is watching the property like hawks for permit violations because of issues with last years new years show i think.
