Right now, I could say that I'm one of the unluckiest guy on the planet. I bought a set of mk2s, less than a year old, and about 4 days later (without any heavy use) it started spazzing out. The problem is basically this one:

Could someone explain the solutions a little bit more clearly to me, as I'm not quite sure how to go about it.

Re: Broken Technic 1210
Ok Ive had this - most likely you or more likely some drunken fool spilled some shit in yo shit
If your deck is erratically going back and forth some will say its your pitch control but ...
The thing is its probably NOT you pitch control - (at least not the slider) I had mine replaced and it kept happening - its something in the machine a chip gone loco or a beer soaked connection...
My friend had the same thing and he sent his back to a technics dealer telling them it was not the pitch slider per se and they fixed his stuff ... mine cost me £45 in parts and then went mad every other day.
RIP Chas and Dave
Now chas (my traditional left hand deck is flying solo in the studio as a sample deck - with a new pitch slider - still occasionally going mental for no reason - it looks lost and ashamed) - Dave now has a new partner (as yet unnamed) in the front room. I just couldn't throw chas away /// memories see ... all alone in the moonlight like.

Re: Broken Technic 1210
there are hundreds of walkthroughs for fixing this type of problem on the internet
you should calibrate both pitch pots
one centers your zero
the other sets your pitch range
if its still a problem after doing those then start to worry cuz its prolly a drive issue
