I was showing my mate some dubstep in the car, with the sub roaring etc. Hes like "Yeah its well good I love it, this dubstep stuffs pretty good isnt it" nodding his head away.
Then, Later on in the night he leans over to me and is like "so, are dubstep your favorite band?" LOL
Well, I found it funny..

I have a friend who calls everyone in the scene 'dubsteps'
Example:
I saw dubsteps this summer. Kode 9 played. It was awesome!

i hear the new "THE DUBSTEPS" 45 yesterday. it has a realy snappy beat and you can pop your fingers to it...
the b-side has more of a "you can drag your knuckles on the ground" sort of thing going on... cos that's the style of the time...

yeh, dubstep is a kina misleading name for the genre. when i first herd it i was actually put off because thought it was some kinda hippie music.

i was round this girls flat last night and her mate was callin it dubstick!
her other mate try bring the dubfluff (dubstep with poppy girls aloud vocals) but i wasn't avin none of it!
felt to clap her round the face with the dubstick!

dubshit. dub shite, wace man music, crackstep... noise.. and that shit are some of the names my mates and family refer to dubstep by check out
