Any fans? frankly i think hes the greatest guitar player that ever lived, his music takes me to another dimension, some true phsycadelic music.. an essential ingredient for any trip in my opinion.

yea man he is the greatest that ever lived

but his career was way tooo short

my teacher said he saw him only a few years after he took off and he was already a mess...not being able to finish songs...tripping to much to play

pisses me off that he died cause he could have started a really awesome label....found amazing artists...and did the "hendrix orchestra" he was planning

his life reflects the nature of his music, and as he put it

'ive got my own life to live, i am the one thats gonna have to die when its time for me to die, so let me live my life, the way i want to.'

Axis: Bold as Love is a phenomenal album as are his others but that's the stand out for me.

Jimi Hendrix is why I make music. As soon as I heard his version of All long the Watchtower as a kid I knew I wanted to play guitar and make music.

Hendrix is great. He's from my home-town! There's a statue of him jamming out on the guitar up on Broadway on Capitol Hill, always covered in necklaces people put there and stuff.

Western music would not be the same without him, not only as guitarist but also his arrangements and song writing. Let alone his pioneering work in the studio and the wealth of stuff he recorded.

Seriously a true a legend, I beg you try test.
