Sheffield, DQ, 8th October. WEE BIT MEAN Starkey, Skynro
WEE BIT MEAN is back and this time we're reaching across the pond to bring you another slab of future bass. The drinks are still cheap and the beats are still heavy.
STARKEY
Hailing from the Philadelphia, Starkey is widely regarded as one of the key figures in dubstep's rise to greatness in the US. A guest appearance on Mary Anne Hobbs' seminal 'Generation Bass' show and a residency at the renowned 'Trouble and Bass' night in New York with Drop the Lime have made him an undisputed member of the international dubstep elite.
With the hip hop and funk influences of fellow Generation Bass guest Joker grating against something altogether rougher, Starkey's unique rewiring of UK grime in both studio and club has gained worldwide acclaim.
A true pioneer of dubstep, in Sheffield, for less than a bag of washing powder. Expect a proper steel city rave up.

SYNKRO b2b INDIGO
The Mancunian heavyweights take it deeper as 2-step and garage influences collide with DMZ-esque dub rumblings. These boys have been causing a stir in the last 12 months and a head-to-head set down our way is a must for anyone with ears and feet.
