Visual Audio Question

Hi peeps,

below ive solo'd my bassline and sm x has given me this visual of the audio of this on the 3rd and first part. As you can see the peaks on the bottom half go down quite a few deb ( about to -10db) and the top half doesnt go no where near that?

Whats casuing this?

It sounds fine, i just wanting to know whats this called and if its good or not.

is that 2 different notes?

This was covered in a thread not too long ago... let me see if I can find it.

Nothing inherently wrong with asymmetric waveforms btw - record a trumpet and have a look at that :)
