Looking for Logic pro collaborators

Post by lowpass » Mon Oct 12, 2009 3:21 pm

I'm looking for some serious producers (by that I mean I want people who will finish a song through and are dedicated to their tracks) to collab with, I want to be able to get a couple of finished tracks out of this, not really into sending a start of a track over and not seeing it come back again.

I wanna swap some knowledge and learn a few things from this, here's what I think I'm alright and not so alright at to see if anyone would be able to learn from/teach me some things:-

strengths: fairly solid mixes (not perfect but they are getting there), drums, sense of melody
weakness': synthesis, song structure (keeping things from getting repetitive), creativity in general (I struggle to think outside of the box musically)

I'm on Logic 9 and if this will work with 8 then I'm happy to work with anyone on either platform. I'm using massive & blue but can stick to the built in synths if this will make it easier.

Pm if interested,

cheers

I'm also a logic user (8.02), But I don't know how compatible I would be since I make almost everything inside multiple instances of mutichannel Kontakt 3 (Drums + bass for example). I'd be down to talk to fellow logic users though, in spite of this. My AIM name is the same as my username, Growlater.

Hey holmes, I'm a pc guy, so we're talking flstudio, ableton or cubase. But I'd do a collab. Doesn't nec have to be in logic does it? Transfers of stems, patches or even midi patterns should cover it?

I'm afraid I share the same weakness as you, arrangement, it'll be the death of me. But perhaps the blind leading the blind could end up somewhere interesting?

Lemme know.
