simple!
one of the nyc heads on here can track down this douchebag:
http://www.markplati.net/
drag this guy out to dubwars just once and he'll realize how fantastic dubstep is from listening to it just once. he'll go home, write 50 minutes worth of "commercial dubsteplike" material and give bowie a call.
piece of cake! who's up for it?

Little wonder got me into dnb!
But seriously you can call Bowie what you want and i must admit that doing a dnb track was a bit of a discredit as he is an innovator not immitator, but his influence on contemporary culture is ubiquitous and he is the most diverse pop musician ever in my opinion.

yeah but hes a bit of a cultural chameleon... he plots his next move in a cold calculated manner. He completely ripped the Ziggy Stardust character off some drag queen in NYC if I recall. Hes like Madonna.

he is like madonna in the sense that he's a cultural vampire
never innovating, always duplicating

Not totally true, I think he's quite canny in the people he picks to work with (the stuff he did with Eno - Low, Heroes, etc were pretty innovative) but he hasn't done anything of much worth in 25 years or more.
Fair play though, how cutting edge is anyone going to be at 60 odd?
Hmm....

Miles did Decoy at around that age

. I thought that was pretty innovative...
I agree though, La Bowie has done some fabulous, ground breaking stuff in his time.
