Curveball wins it. Bruce Parry's great, although I'm not sure what his actual survival skills are. He's a jolly nice chap and can take a mansize dose of natural hallucinagenics, though.

parry is class. the documentary cannibals and crampons is a good watch, him and an ex-army guy trek to and climb a remote mountain in new guinea. Parry gets fairly annoyed a few times with the other guy for being a bit of a cigarette. Funny shit.

all about mr Mears for me.

1) i feel like im learning something when i watch his shows. its more of a documentry compared to Gryll's "jackass" type show
2) he went to school round the corner from my house, Reigate Grammar school.

Mears gets my vote!

Parry used to be a marine so I reckon his survival skills would be pretty damn good...

Either way, if I'm stranded with either one of them we're eating them first.

Yeah, see what his fucking SAS training does against my mind, sharpened by years of smoking dope and watching extreme martial arts movies. I could seriously plan to fuck that pussy up.

Yeah, Parry was a royal marine instructor.

lol at this though.
Currently, his series, Amazon is being re-shown on British TV. To link in with this series and his last one, Tribe, he has put together a double album of twenty exclusive new songs from KT Tunstall, Johnny Borrell, A-ha, Black-Eyed Peas, Hot Chip and more. The album is called Bruce Parry presents: Amazon/Tribe - Songs for Survival. The first track on the album is used as the opening theme music for Amazon. The album is available now on iTunes and will be released on the 13 October 2008. The record label is Kensaltown Records and all profits will go to Survival International.
