trying to help a buddy with logic out who is trying to do some vinyl crackle reduction and restoration on some samples, so a little out of my element since some of the vsts i use aren't avail as au and such. know he is trying izotope rx to lil or no avail atm and he's kind of new at this so the whole eq settings and such is kinda lost on him atm (trying)
any suggestions would be helpful

Hmm, izotope RX seems to be the go-to plugin for this kind of stuff. I'd imagine there's something better that costs 10x as much as is used by professional studios though. What is RX doing (or not doing) that you feel like you need something else?

not me one of my regular customers. he's only had it for a day, trying to hit him on the cell phone to help him out but it's hard to teach someone without the plugin/comp in person or over the phone.

Explaining stuff that like over the phone is a huge pain.
