Well after waiting 3 hours for skream to come on what he delivered was what i can only describe as an utter disapointment. He is a brilliant producer but when it comes to mixing he absolutely killed it literally. He could barely beat match, his songs wer jumping and wer out of time as a result. He lowered the volume and tempo during play with excrutiatingly bad timing. His song choice was random and not in a gud way. Not to mention his mc, quote, told the crowd to "fuck off" when everyone bood and he screamed (no pun intended) "it is what it is" as a result. How is it possible that one of the most reputable dubstep producers can bomb a perfectly good night like this? Plastician was amazing last week and this week skream manages to empty a club quicker then you can say midrange. Its just strange.

Hmm well most DJs stop taking risks with their sets and play the exact same stuff so respect to Skream on this one. And you can hardly blame him for crap decks.

its not COMPLETELY about his mixing though, its the selection that is important u know. you might struggle to get thru the mixes but when a tune is playin u can still rock to it if its mean!

i've seen skream play countless times and ive never witnessed him disappoint a crowd like your saying. imo one bad mix can be excused here, everyone has good days and bad days.

its always shit when equipment lets you down on the night, especially the old needle skips. problem is people in the crowd who don't know much about dj'ing tend to attribute any cock up to the dj even if its out of their control.

tbh i think a little history lesson is in order for those who have the audacity to try 'boo' skream off the fwd decks :D

Hats off to you, I can tell it isn't the first time you've received a bit of criticism on these forums and if you had some technical problems, fair play. I don't post on these forums much as you can see but to be completely fair, after last night I couldn't help but not. Fiver on the door and 3 hours of electro and house before any dubstep got played (as much as I can accept electro, I didn't fancy hearing riverside three times in a night much) but I definitely wasn't expecting a bombing.

Your reasons still don't account for the quality of the performance in regards to off mixing, strange volume control, out pitched songs and random stopping and starting in the middle of tunes (and not even to rewind, but just as well). I'm not nit picking and I know I wasn't the only one who felt mugged.

I've been listening to your stuff for time man and last night was the first time I went to see you live with a couple mates. And it was just a shame man. I guess "it is what it is" ay. And unfortunately no I wasn't the joker who asked you to play some dubstep but I kind of wish you did now...

Shy away to the fans giving you crits man, thats definitely the way to go about it.

I honestly believe that in 2009 if you get this reaction from certain people you're doing something right. Long live the DJs with the "wot do you call it?" mentality.

Didn't see this set personally, but I do know Skream has some dubs that are going to turn people's heads 360 in 2009/10. Hold tight for them.

I went fwd the other week & didnt hear "wherez my money" being played repeatedly for 10 minutes. I asked for my money back & complained to Sarah. Suffice to say I was exremely dissapointed & can confidently say that dubstep haz died.

You know you don't have to have achieved as much as another person to criticise them?

Or else politicians wouldn't be up for scrutiny for example.

Kaz is well within his rights to criticise if feels he needs to, respect to him and skream for not shying away from the matter.

Last time I saw skream he rocked it tbf, but if you were there on the night in question it sounded how it sounded I guess.
