DROKKR - Stout

Post by drokkr » Sat Oct 24, 2009 4:21 pm

Time for a new one... http://www.carbonlogic.co.uk/artist/drokkr/stout

Went for a little more bass weight on this, it started out as a quick piece for a set intro but it ended up turning into this. Please let me know what you guys think.

I'd like to hear more elements and layers. But that is a personal taste. Maybe beef up the drums a little with some compression and EQ.
Keep up the tunes.

Loved the second half especially all the bell sounds. I'd like to hear more depth to the snare in the first half and maybe a touch of reverb sounds a bit dry. But I still did enjoy it

Nice one mate, minimal and the hit patterns compliment it really well and second half really delivers!

DEEEEEEEEEEEEP!
the only thing i'd say is maybe the piano-ish notes sound a little repetitive... i think it would be creepier if they didn't repeat as much, and it would keep the track going...
but i love the atmosphere of the whole song. and when the bass starts wobbling... oooooo! so sick!
i really like it, but like i said, i think it would be better if the piano was just a little less repetitive. just a suggestion :) it might be personal preference, but hey, im just putting it out there :)

cheers!
i'd like a 320 if ur giving.
