TIME STRETCH VST'S

Post by HAACK » Tue Oct 27, 2009 4:24 am

May anyone please recommend me time stretch VST's that are accurate with BPM change, willing to purchase in the 20-50$ range, freeware is also always appreciated.

Cheers.

What DAW do you use? I think most have a timestretch built in at this point.

Ok great, will check those out, I am using Reason 4 with Sonar 6, Ableton eats my CPU power, and I checked both VST folder and plugins and it only came with pitch shift, no time stretch.

you use warp marker to time stretch the audio
one marker at the start, one at the end, then you drag the end warp marker as far as you want to get the amount of stretch required
its really easy

yeah it is...still worth it though

I use it for the more extreme & ridiculous stretching possibilities instead of just normal, ableton time stretching type shit.

I would prefer to have one (for that and "bitcrushing") but I haven't seen one for the right price and I just don't have the room :(

Nice! I like 12 bits though (950 preferred).

Funny thing is they are going for about 2 or 3x what they were about 5-6 years ago. Most 80s synths too are finally going up in value. I feel like a chump b/c 2001ish you could find Alpha Junos, etc for $100 easy.
