Silkie - City Limits volume 1 LP (Medilp002) - statement

Post by s.t. holdings » Fri Oct 30, 2009 6:04 pm

Due to unforeseen and mysterious circumstances (seriously) lead to a problem with the original press of Silkie - City Limits volume 1 LP (Medilp002). Someone once told me doing a triple pack vinyl is a nightmare. I laughed it off, jinx!

Even though only some of the LP's had a fault, I've worked hard other the years to make sure all of my records are of a high standard. Even to this day the cause remains a bit of a mystery, everyone including the producer, label boss, mastering engineer, manufacturer and distributor communicated extensively trying to figure out what had happened. In the end I decided to get the whole album re-mastered and re-cut. So I am a pleased again to announce the re-release of Silkie's debut album 'City Limits Volume 1. Available: 9/11/09

Saying things like "big up" and "respect" and all that to man like MALA sounds a bit obvious!! :) Mala is too much for this scene, and I knew he was going to do the right thing with the Silkie LP troubles!!!

My Horizon/Headbutt da deck 12" labels are on the wrong way round..This release must be cursed.

Such a brilliant collection of music let down by a couple of hiccups. Lets all move on with a city limits volume 2 8)
