Dilla and Madlib were both bumping seiji backstage at the montreux jazz festival in 2003. still can't believe they were fans of this stuff.

saw madlib do a broken beat set (in los angeles) around that time as well. i remember him telling me afterwards "i just wanna show people that i like and can make all kinds of music." pretty dope.
