nah not tru - last time round we had jones and vaughan, plus flintoff not pressured with captaincy.
yeah i agree, wasn't an anomaly. true we had our luck - warne dropping kp (i think it was) in the final test, among other things.

but sj with reverse swing, harmy not being *quite* so poor, and freddie firing on all cylinders meant we were a VERY different side last time around. with jones, hoggard, a half-strength harmy, and flintoff bowling we had a properly devastating pace attack, to compensate for our inconsistent batting.

whoever said sth about brett lee's batting - he's always been handy with the bat, as has warne, don't think that's a reflection on england's bowling.

Panesar on his debut takes five wickets. Even Warne hasn't taken five on that ground.

Fletcher your a mug mate.

Giles hasn't played for a year before coming into this series.

Are people honestly that thick?

the guardian did a piece on an all night sports bar in London that was showing it.. maybe search their website?

Panesar is a badderman.. all that pressure to perform and he still bowled like a demon

BUT, we did lose 2 wickets last night and i'm scared i'm gonna wake up and find we were bowled out for 86...

PLEASE GOD, PLEASE let us win this match... (out to god - your chest)

and I was hopeing I would come home from work and find that :D. Your tail enders would just not go out.

Panasar isn't a terrible tail ender batsman either. He read Warne pretty well, got me wondering if spinners have an edge batting against other spinners? Maybe can read them better.

Anyway, we're 1/45, Langer out.

Are you guys getting the 'hot spot' shit? The shots where they show you the infrared footage, you can see where the ball has connected with the bat, pads, or gloves etc? pretty cool I thought.

anyway, beer oclock ;)

they just got 13 off lee's over and 12 off clark.

Fletcher and Flintoff arsed up the selections. We wouldn't have won the series, but we'd have taken at least one test. Poor.

England 291 & 147
Australia 393 & 77 overs and 10 wickets worth of runs

5-0 in the bag I'd say.
