ok im done adding energy to everyones itchy little troll fingers.. i think ive adequately proven my point here.

i really dont care what people 'think' because the stats dont lie...

its not a race, or a competition.

if it were a competition i wouldnt do things like i am now..

such as:

provide half of subfm's 128K slots
provide the transcoding for subfm
provide the transcoding for cybafm

ive also been working closely with atari for weeks now working on completely redesigning subfm's website (coming soon btw.. its lookin pretty nice)

and the list goes on... i dont really care who has more of what.. but when im asked who has the most... until im shown otherwise.. my answer is Dubstep.fm

So, let me get this straight, it's not cool to be upfront about a station being succesfull? WTF, a lot of hard work goes into making dubstepfm number 1 so of course the dubstepfm family are gonna be proud about it, this thread started off with someone insinuating that the station is quiet when in fact it has the highest online listenership. Regardless of anyones opinion or wether people like the management or dont like the management the facts are the facts.

As for shameless self promo, of course there is a ton of promo for the station I wouldnt want to be on it if the brand wasn't pushed hard.

Seems like the cool club have had there bubble burst and don't like it, here's a tissue.

your 100% right, I was talking about the elite bitches who defend Sub.fm or Rinse.fm cause they prefer that station for its line-up. figures dont lie tho.

I don't think anyone on dubstepfm is really bothered about the awards, they are relevant to this site, not the scene as a whole.

as stated in the awards section... these are dubstep FORUM awards... not dubstep awards... subfm or rinsefm winning the final vote wont change the fact that dubstep.fm has more listeners.

im just saying it will open a can of worms. and if the site has SO many listeners and blows every other site out of the water bc of that....like i feel like youre all saying....then bc of that reason only, you should win best radio station and one of your shows should win best radio show. totally true. if its not, ill cut off a finger. thats how sure i am of this.

The great thing about Sub.FM is that when there are archives playing on Dubstep.FM, there is a live show going on Sub.FM.

When there is a live show going on Dubstep.FM, there is always an archive playing on Sub.FM.

Both are relevant to my interests. There are shows on both stations that I do not miss. I am often in the chat, but even more of the time I am listening and not in the chat. When I am in the chat there is almost always someone in the Dubstep.FM chat, with minor lags sometimes in the conversation. Same with Sub.FM.

So let's whip them out, take a measurement and record who is bigger in order for us to get on about the business of making music happen and stopping the talking about making music happen.

Regardless of whether or not those people are listening or idle with music playing in an empty room, there are more people connected to Dubstep.FM according to the numbers. When Dopelabs pays his bandwidth bill, he can't make the argument that half the bandwidth wasn't being heard ya know... but the real point is that it doesn't matter. We could all sit here and argue the finer points of why we prefer what station, but at the end of the day I usually just listen to whatever is live and skip the archives.

I will say that on Dubstep.FM Dopelabs will drop the connection on the DJ if they wheel a tune for a 5th or 6th time, which is always appreciated lol.

im gonna go ahead and say dubstep.fm chat is absolutely dope during live shows. ive sat there so many times and heard a dope tune and just had to say i.d.? in the chat and some1 , usually the dj whos also always in the chat, will give me the i.d. ive found sooooo many dope tunes by doing this and i dont kno any other way to find new sick tunes. im serious, if some1 has a better way then let me know, cuz im always tryin to increase my library with sick tunes but its hard with this genre because its still relatively unknown.

also, the ammount of live shows on dubstep.fm is pretty sick. every saturday i can expect to listen to a SICK 4+ hour dank dealz set, an earlier in the day fstz set, and dubnation later at night. there just tonsss of live shows every week its awsome.
