Unite, Archangel, Nite Train are tunes that to me should go down down very well in a dance, but hey different strokes and all that.
Some of us have to remember that a lot of Dubstep listeners don't know that this music emerge out of UK Garage or even care for that matter. To most people it's all about those filthy beats. Just like how most currents D&B listeners could give a flying fuck about the 93-97 sound. New generation and ting.

Got into DnB and Dubstep for the filthy side of it.
Got tired of it fast, very fast. I still enjoy some good "dirty" shit once in a while...when it's done in an original way.
A heavy track will have much more power if you played something smooth and bouncy or calm and beautiful just before.
I got so tired of agressive stuff that I found myself enjoying a lot what I call myself "cheesy" DnB and Dubstep.

Re: why mix burial?
Against certain tunes you can mix Burial but theres no real sub bass in there and mixdowns sound very different to most other producers (and timing as well) so they don't sit well against most tracks in the mix however with refixing anythings possible
Re: why mix burial?
I'm always doing that - obviously if you are going to use a harder track it can't be of the silly variety though as that would sound stupidwhitelight wrote:A heavy track will have much more power if you played something smooth and bouncy or calm and beautiful just before.
