When there is a live show going on Dubstep.FM, there is always an archive playing on Sub.FM.

Both are relevant to my interests. There are shows on both stations that I do not miss. I am often in the chat, but even more of the time I am listening and not in the chat. When I am in the chat there is almost always someone in the Dubstep.FM chat, with minor lags sometimes in the conversation. Same with Sub.FM.

So let's whip them out, take a measurement and record who is bigger in order for us to get on about the business of making music happen and stopping the talking about making music happen.

Regardless of whether or not those people are listening or idle with music playing in an empty room, there are more people connected to Dubstep.FM according to the numbers. When Dopelabs pays his bandwidth bill, he can't make the argument that half the bandwidth wasn't being heard ya know... but the real point is that it doesn't matter. We could all sit here and argue the finer points of why we prefer what station, but at the end of the day I usually just listen to whatever is live and skip the archives.

I will say that on Dubstep.FM Dopelabs will drop the connection on the DJ if they wheel a tune for a 5th or 6th time, which is always appreciated lol.
biggup

I also enjoy sub.fm on the regular

I spend alot of time in the dubstep.fm chat and have met some of the most open and down to earth people i know. As for perk, why wouldn't you want to promote your station? Thats like throwing a party and not making any fliers...

Ive been a regular with the dubstep.fam for about 6 months or more. When I found it and started hanging out in the chat is when I really started learning more and more about the genre... theres always someone in the chat at any given hour and when they have live shows its ALWAYS poppin.. Im in there now and its poppin and we're locked to archives..

it has to be said that listener stats on any internet radio station are never accurate or factual. this is why major stations like the BBC are audited by independent agencies like rajar.

there is no reason for us to fradulently hike the ratings...

we're not collecting advertising revenue and it's most certainly not done to impress the people on this forum

hmm,

I guess I misunderstood

I just don't get the sub.fm vs dubstep.fm

it's not a competition with me, it's music

music that I care deeply about

That's simply not true, if someone is connected to the stream they are connected to the stream end of story.

kind of dumb that a scene that has this much unity get all jerked off over radio stations
