I have to hold my hand up and say I don't like Hyph Mngo... but I can't place why.
Forever falling in love with old tunes that I will never hear dropped.

he was bigging up wet look on his twitter a while back. Its massive to have him play your tracks.
Sasha has been at the top of the game longer than most of you have been alive. How can you argue with that. He sites dubstep (in particular burial) as a big influence to Involver 2.
Ive seen him live 11 times, 12th will be in december WITH John digweed. I am a massive fan, even if he is a moody fucker.

Sadly the rest of the board now has to hunt you down and kill you.

It's a pretty good look when people like that come off their perch and give us a nod. I don't really value Sasha's opinion a whole lot, but I realize that it could mean a fair amount for the sales of the tune.
It took me a few listens to come to Hyph Mngo as a favorite on that release. I preferred Wet Look for a time, mainly because I would probably be able to use it more readily in a set, without that huge intro before the drop.
Tiesto played Skream's In For The Kill remix in NY recently as well. For better or worse, that's a rather big audience to be hearing Dubstep. I've heard of a few trance producers making Dubstep now that is pretty well done. Can't fault them for making the move.

Forgive me, I'm out of weed.

Hopefully with that same sentiment of Sasha and Tiesto, dubstep's popularity will grow...but that doesn't necessarily mean the crowd they draw will enjoy it. I can understand "Hyph Mngo" going over well more so than a dubstep tune mainly because it's not a prototypical dubstep track; uplifting and relentless in terms of output and warmth, sure...that's why it crosses borders in terms of genres and who can drop them in their sets. Just be thankful we're not hearing any Brackles or Shortstuff in a eurotrance set...that might be weird.
