Currently this one's only up on Soundcloud.

Might end up on an album, but looking for some constructive feedback in the meantime.

Lovely stuff mate.
I like the drum pattern in this, verges on Drum and Bass programming. Also feeling the minimal approach with the suspended chords going through it.
I wouldn't change anything.
Sounds fresh to me!

feelin this one a lot Alex. Like I said on the soundcloud the atmospheres are great, love the vocals that come in later (maybe they could be a bit more predominant in the mix?)
other than that, look forward to hearing the final version.

Yeh the pads are lovely, so much depth to them. Those keys are great too... is that a sample or played?
I like how its kept restrained.

The piano was played by me. I was thinking of running out a sample pack of piano stuff since alot of people seem to look for good piano samples. Just chords and riffs etc.absense wrote:Yeh the pads are lovely, so much depth to them. Those keys are great too... is that a sample or played?

great track
Re: DFRNT - Lament [Brand new track]
Stunning
Lush as you like pads, beautiful keys and lovely warm kick drums. The keys with vocal on the short break before the drop work really nice. Great shuffley percussion and a great vocal sample with nice subtle fx on there too.
Lovely stuff...
