I support this! I've been referring to it as brostep for some time now, and it's nice to see it's caught on to this level.
I don't even see it as an inherently demeaning or condescending term, just a long overdue genre terminology splintering, separating the Brackles from the Borgore. In fact, I think brostep is a hilariously appropriate term for the music.
