What's the point if you are allowed to use VSTs? I could process the fuck out of a sample and resample it over and over with vsts until all the samples sounded nothing like they used to be. Shouldn't there be more constraints?

I know, just put these samples in alchemy and call it a day
But still, these are the seeds, grow them how u will. Create the best track you can. That's the name of the game.

That's the whole point, sir. Every turd can arrange some samples, that's why there's Magix Music Maker. We're arrogant enough to consider ourselves above that

Process! Resample! Consider the samplepack just a heap of clay you need to give form.

I've been losing sleep on this. My buddy told me about it on Saturday, and since Sunday I've been locked in on this. It's a good excuse to drink a lot of beer though!!
So far I'm only using Live 8 without the Suite, and I haven't found a need to use any external plugin effects either. Sweet!!! You really do learn a lot of discipline and resourcefulness from something like this! With the right processing, and I mean simple processing too, these samples are golden!

Yo,
My first attempt at a track for the contests...and only my 2nd dubstep tune...but I think I should be able to finish it tonight. My only concern is I am in Canada and I am hoping to finish this evening but that will likely be Friday UK time already. Is a few hours into Friday UK time acceptable for submission...or is it a fail?
Also who do I submit my track to when I am done? Sorry for the noob biz.
Thanks,

"Send your tracks, yet again, to Sinus Sawtooth when you've finished it.

(Well done again Sinus!)"

roger that!
