Or they die out. I'm inclined to think that we were just too smart to so. We suited planet earth well for a good couple thousand years before we started to settle down, right?

Even if we were to accept your hypothesis, it still leaves huge questions like how we got here, why did it take us so long to "relearn" how to go to outer space, and why our DNA is so similar to native species of our planet.

of course we evolved from apes. they just weren't local apes. apes all over the galaxy. panspermia. get to know.

i also said we're hybridized, which inherently implies that there's genetic crossover. a tumor is a pretty good metaphor.
