Re: Aliens...OH NO
probably a bit off topic to drop my own experience but whatever:
ive seen a UFO twice in my life, once when i was 8 on Halloween and another on my way home from work a couple of years ago. both times were triangle crafts with 3 lights. Both disappeared 1 minute after i recognized they were there.
that doesn't mean aliens though, its called UNIDENTIFIED flying object for a reason. what it definitely was not was sprite or ball lightning, weather balloons, or a hallucination.
actually i don't live far from the first media popularized alien abduction : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betty_and_ ... _abduction
but you have to consider one major thing when dealing with abduction stories IF they occurred from home
SLEEP PARALYSIS!!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis
this accounts for many many many of abduction reports, and we can pretty much rule out aliens on crop circles to pranksters, so the only thing that remains is actual sightings during a person's conscious hours. anything else is a waste of time to look into.
people like to think that humans are hallucination machines when they write off ufo sightings but how many people actually have open-eye visual hallucinations while fully awake that aren't on drugs or severely mentally ill? the answer is very close to zero

Re: Aliens...OH NO
i'd love to see some evidence that we're somehow not native to earth- we're biologically identical to other animals on this planet, and we need the same basic resources to survive.
just because our superior intelligence has allowed us to evade the normal checks and balances that regulate life on earth (although for how much longer i'm not sure), we have created an illuson that we are somehow not dependent on it, that we have escaped the interdependent cycle of nature
and maybe humans in the west now can't live without electricity, but this is because of societal evolution and not because we're somehow a special or different- our ancestors managed perfectly well without hot running water, electricity, plumbing etc in the past, indeed many people still do today
you got a link to this circadian rhythm stuff?
as for extraterrestrial (by this i mean non-human) influence on earth...i'm pretty open to visitation and the imparting of knowledge, as i believe there are huge questions about the origins of many things in our past...the obvious ones being the pyramids, astronomy etc. i'm not so sure about advanced civilisations (this term is a bit vague anyway) existing on earth before human history began, societies can only advance if they have abundant energy sources and i don't see where they could have come from
interesting stuff though- and as for the original post, i won't discount it- would be fucking awesome as well if it was true

Re: Aliens...OH NO
i offered a lot of examples of evidence that support the notion of human origin being off-world. if you want to reduce it down to one little thing that is easier for your mind to dismiss, go ahead.NilsFG wrote:Hmm simple question. So, because we humans, don't have a function or functions that are adapted to planet earth like all animals have, we are extra-terrestrial?parson wrote:try looking at life on earth for a little while.
go watch bbc planet earth for a while. every part functions to serve the whole.
except humans. this is a basic fact observable from ANY perspective.
if you can't see it i can't help you
Re: Aliens...OH NO
the circadian rhythm stuff i read in a david icke book. i dunno if he site his sources.
the evidence for my claims are all around y'all. its seriously gotta be harder to constantly dismiss things things that each one would single handedly dismantle the flimsy paradigm we've been programmed with from birth.
a new history is emerging

Re: Aliens...OH NO
Your world view is no doubt exciting for you, as any cloak and dagger mystery usually is. But your unflinching belief in these things is quite dangerous. You've simply swapped one cast iron reality for another.parson wrote:the circadian rhythm stuff i read in a david icke book. i dunno if he site his sources.

To dismiss peoples comments and opinions because they don't subscribe to your world view makes you no better than the people you claim to be staunchly against. Questioning what you were told surely formed the basis upon which you built your view of the world. So why are you so quick to chastise when that same spirit is displayed here? And to claim absolute truth on any matter is folly. You must recognise that!?
Aliens are the daemons of our times, that's not to say they don't exist but they are not "extra terrestrial" by any means.

Re: Aliens...OH NO
i know a lot more than i can easily explain. it gets harder and harder to explain when people dismiss claims as they come through. if y'all could learn to shut up and learn to look differently you'd see a completely different picture.
i also only barely care if i am the one to convince you. pretty soon everybody is gonna be convinced about aliens. my concern then is how much truth is in the story that is presented.
if my perspective offends your sensibilities then i invite you to foe me. and if you continually spout standard skeptic lines, i'm going to foe you. i've read carl sagan. i know every little way of dismantling "pseudoscience" so you dont' have to have it threaten your programming.

Re: Aliens...OH NO
I'm not trying to discredit you. With comments like the above, don't you see why people are wary of accepting what you put forward? Ramming shit down throats gets backs up instantly, haven't you learned any of the subtleties that have so easily conned the rest of us into believing what we are sold? Surely you should employ those tactics to change minds.parson wrote: if y'all could learn to shut up and learn to look differently you'd see a completely different picture.
You know how you view Michael Moore........... well that's how you come across here. Bull in a china shop. Discrediting the credible.
Re: Aliens...OH NO
you just asked me to coddle you and use shady hypnotizing techniques to brainwash people into believing stuff whether they want to or not.
did you not catch the part where i said i only barely care if you believe me?
i'm just sharing my perspective. you can take or leave it. i didn't start the thread.

Re: Aliens...OH NO
if people want to know about aliens there are better sources than me:
bob lazar
phil schneider
david adair
the disclosure project
project camelot
richard hoagland
david wilcock
ralph ring
george green
barbara marciniak
michael tsarion
jordan maxwell
i could list names for days. but the people who give a shit already know these names. and the ones who don't are never going to know these names.
i'm just going to continue sharing my perspective and if people annoy me i''ll delete em from my life.

Re: Aliens...OH NO
No I didn't ask you to do that, I was getting at something quite different.
Claiming to know the answers to all and thinking with great certainty that you are un programmed is a sure sign you're well and truly still in it's grip. The fact you're so clearly consumed by such neatly defined alternatives says alot. The day you walk around without a single thought is when you can claim at least in part to be even remotely free.

Re: Aliens...OH NO
are you going to demonstrate some comprehension or is passive aggressive armchair psychology the best i can hope for
Re: Aliens...OH NO
I'm not going to demonstrate anything, that's how I see things, you see them differently. I hope these things come true or your gonna have a mad breakdown when your world view starts to slide......
Re: Aliens...OH NO
lol as opposed to yours parson?
You are a very interesting person, a lot more interesting than the shit you spout anyway.
