If I didnt have a shaved head

Post by irregular foundation » Sat Nov 28, 2009 11:03 pm

Id be pulling my fucking hair out

A couple weeks ago I was using my laptop to record some sounds from a dvd using Audition ... I went yesterday to do the same thing again and It wont allow me to record anything except the microphone input ... Ive uninstalled then reinstalled the drivers , looked on the web , checked show disabled devices , etc ... It seems from looking on the web that a lot of people have the problem where recording stereo mix isnt an option in windows 7 , however I just did it which is what is pissing me off

Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it

I'm having the same problem man... I can't even use audacity because apparently my audio drivers are wrong
windows 7 is good apart from this problem
I can't even use the windows movie maker stereo mix record because they removed that feature in the latest version
New Tune! Raze - The Sickness! (my first ever completed dubstep tune ;))
320 or WAV for any takers...

still some bugs in 7 that adobe and windows need to fix, hence why it's not best to upgrade your os right off the bat or at least use dual boot
give it some time and i'm sure it will be fixed

Yeah , Ive calmed down some. Im sure Ill figure it out eventually ... like I said the reason I was pissed was because I sampled a movie a couple weeks ago and I guess Im such a burnout I dont remember what the fuck I did If the stereo mix option was there or not

im using win7 64

im pretty sure there is only a 32 bit auditions

the problem is with the stereo mix deal on the soundcard i think

pretty much what i want to be able to do is play a synth in fruity loops and record the output while adjusting the effects in real time , i just need to figure out a different way to do this

you should be able to in fl, though audio recording can be a bitch as i recall and some automation was a pain and i had to find workarounds back when i used it
