I don't know where you get the info from, would like to read it, but even so it doesn't mean we shouldn't be doing anything to prevent waste/cut down consumption. You aren't going to deny that resources are running out are you?

Actually channel 4 done a documentary with leading scientists they all agreed. Sayin 1 volcanoe produces more co2 than all the factorys and cars in the world put together. Not to mention that when leaves fall off trees they put co2 back into the environment.

I've heard this too, global warming happens naturally. See: previous ice ages (although that's only a theory). That said, humans are making it worse too.

Scientificaly we are still in an ice age because an ice age is defined as the earth having two polar caps covered in ice...but I'm just being picky. I get your point just a bit of trivia lol

That's not my point. You are saying it like it is an excuse to continue the mass consumption of finite resources, surely we don't need global warming as an incentive to cut down, we should be looking for alternatives anyway.

Just watched this whole vid.

Aside from my earlier comments on the guy as an individual, I want to pose the question, esp in light of the last 10 mins (and our apparent helplessness)...

How does knowing or believing what this guy says help you to live a better life?

I do wonder that about a lot of conspiracy theories, but you can't knock people for wanting to know the truth about stuff... it's a very important part of human nature to be inquizitive about how the world works. I think people tend to get a bit too attracted to exciting theories and let their good judgement slide in order to believe the more fun explaination. As long as they're not blowing anyone up or starting fights away from the tellynet because of it, they can knock themselves out, I guess.

I'm really not sure the "film industry" (as if it's some collective organism with a hive mind!) has many other guiding principles than profit first and foremost, entertainment a relatively respectable second and art a languishing third. Some individuals have agendas... but a whole industry thinking as one?!

Also - I don't think this has necessarily come up in this thread, but this whole idea that rich people who socialise and "talk shop" with each other must be up to something is hilarious. All humans want to socialise with people they can relate to... I tend to hang out with people with a similar outlook to me and most people tend to socialise in and around their social 'status' whether they intend to or not. Do people really expect billionaires to just hang out at the pub after work with us normal people?

What is the problem with one-world government if it were done in a good way? I clearly haven't grasped the "must be done in an evil way" thing yet? Little help?

The biggest impact, apart from perhaps farming subsidies, that the EU has had on Europeans is the introduction of the free movement of labour across EU States and the European Court of Human Rights. I really don't have a problem with either of those things.

Where did I say these were written by a bunch of loosers?

All I said is that refering to a Reality Sandwich article is like refering to the Onion.

Power Corrupts...End of story look at history if you dont believe it, we just do not have the self control necessary to maintain a globalized government. It literally would be the absolute worst thing that could ever happen.
