Decent quality hip hop dl sites, paying of course.

Post by fingersmithuk » Tue Dec 01, 2009 9:21 pm

Hi Guys

Basically, I've been producing a lot of experimental hip hop recently, stuff like flying lotus, mike slott, leatherette, hud mo, that sort of flavour.

I want to start mixing it as at the moment I only mix d n b and I'm getting sort of tired of it but I can't find any download sites with a decent selection of tunes. anyone got any recommendations for sites that could link me up with some decent quality mp3s, obviously I don't want torrents and shit but sites like junodownload and stuff like that.
any help would be awesome.
safe.

yeah, boomkat, junodownload, play, bleep for all of that

no-one distibrutes good underground proper hiphop (with emcees and that) digitally, which amazes me.

some stuff can be had here... http://digital.turntablelab.com/search/?genre_id=8

last time I checked though the prices of albums was retarded expensive with physicals being like half the price

update: looks like the prices have been adjusted a bit, no longer 38$ for an album with 25 tracks lol

Yeah, I never buy at beatport, too expensive for sure... digital music ought to be so much damn cheaper IMO, I would spend way more if the prices were better... although I don't think beatport watermarks the digi files, Juno does though

re: beatport: and an extra dollar on top of EACH TRACK for WAV is ridiculous... bandwidth they claim but bullshit. I would spend an extra dollar per release/order but I'll be damned if I'll pay 10$ for an album and another 10$ for the WAVs when I can get a physical for 13$
