If you seen 12 films of Fassbinder, I urge you to watch every Aki Kaurismäki film while you at it! Will love em if you love R.W.F.!

tip: his Leningrad Cowboys films have finns speaking english and are truly asking for sampling!!!

I am skeptical about the whole thing. The scene is not really at the point where it needs a prestigious award ceremony in which only a select few are recognized. That encourages insularity.

That said, everyone nominated has their nose to the grindstone. Big up yourselves.

Much love and thanks to everyone who voted for me...I'm blown away. It's been an interesting year, and I'm still a bit in shock of how much new stuff I've done this year. I've scratched a lot of stuff off my "need to do before I die" list because of this music, and people's possitive reception to my take on it.
