If you need unending positivity like a safety blanket, read blogs. Just about every post is "here's a crisp, crisp tune we got in the email inbox today. this producer's been making HUGE waves and has seen support by the likes of blah blah blah" because blogs want to appear exciting to entice readers.

Also, chill.

challenging all aspects of the scene is what keeps it on its toes and fresh and exciting. if everyone were to sit back and praise every dj or producer, theat wouldnt be conducive to a healthy and positive directioned scene.

p.s. doorly and borgore are killing dubstep ;)
hilarious.

About 80% of the threads I open are nothing but complaining. If you are so fed up with the dubstep scene why even both posting on this bored? So much negativity about a genre you all claim to LOVE . Shut the fuck up start producing and DJing if you are so upset about it.

I moan a lot on forums it's true, and I try not to do that as much anymore. Since I've become less interested in dubstep I've become removed from the issues of where the sound's going and so I don't really care that there's stuff I don't like out, because I won't go to many clubs where I get pumelled with it anymore. Also I can see that there's merit to this stuff that I can't see/feel because I don't go to dubstep nights to be fucked in the face by mid range wobble all night. But there was a time when I got into DNB where I loved all that kind of stuff. I perceived the function of the music differently.

Having said all this, you can't ban negativity on forums because sometimes negativity has merits to its argument. Sometimes people are calling it as they're seeing it. Obviouly you should try to see things from how they see it, but without that misunderstanding/difference of opinion, there's no discussion.

You've been a member since November 10th and you already have 580+ posts? Is there a reason why people should give your words particular merit? are you being an asshole in an attempt to be ironic or is it because you're simply trying to be an asshole?

it's a tough job being the only defender of midrange as you call it (and I hate that term cause I get the feeling it's a derogatory one) on these boards.
