He was asking about making it loud as possible, mastering. Not processing

What I always do is just export it at the volume I am working with, for example for drums (which I almost never bounce but anyways) my shit peaks at about -9db. Then I normalize the sound and import back in my project file for further processing.

Well then I would say sampling should always be maximized, mostly just for standarisation, and for conserving quality and leaving any noise behind i think. Thats my practice atleast.

anyone making an entry on hardware only?
This is my first time attempting to create a mini track with the DSF samplepack. I got the samples and loaded them all into my Electribe ES1-MKII. Thesea are great samples, jsut wondering if anyone is going to approach this from the hardware end?

no, too much hassle.... alos does elctribe es1-mk11 allow easy slicing on board?? Then looping to creat your synths /leads? filters etc?? too much trouble i reckon...

Liking the pack. I'm about half way done the tune. It is me or are both bass samples very sub bassy? I am going to have to try and do some mangling to make at least one of these growl a bit

Yeah they are. I purposely put two sub basses in to see what people got from them after processing them. Should be pretty good if people mess around with em enough!

its alright as per the discussion in the last packs thread. I'm simply loading the sample into it and applying fx and filters inside alchemy...same as would be done in fl studio with an effect on the sampler.

haha oh dear.... I barely added any effects to any of the samples, just tried to make something out of what there was... then again i ended up with something totally different to what i normally write, and i've been told it's my most well-produced song to date (altho i still don't know much about anything)... so i guess it's still good practise

hopefully not too bad for my first sample pack attempt.
