Re: Ordered a Virus today..
ive been looking at getting one of these for ages but the price never seems to come down enough for me to afford one.
ill end up saving 3/4's of the price and spunk it on other things like dancing midgets and stripping monkeys

Re: Ordered a Virus today..
what's the best price you can get one of these for. man i would love that.
Re: Ordered a Virus today..
The snow, which is full featured (with the exception of some processing power afaik) and has a more compact layout is $1310, which isn't too bad.doomproduction wrote:what's the best price you can get one of these for. man i would love that.

It's half the polyphony (max 9 I believe), 4 part multitimbral (vs 16 in the others), less outputs and no surround sound, and not very much physical control. Personally I don't think it's worth it since the price isn't that much lower, but it might suit someone else's needs fine.rook wrote:The snow, which is full featured (with the exception of some processing power afaik) and has a more compact layout is $1310, which isn't too bad.doomproduction wrote:what's the best price you can get one of these for. man i would love that.

Agreed. If you're going to be spending that much money it's probably worth going the extra mile, but it is cool that you're still technically able to put out the same sound from it for a grand less.wormcode wrote:It's half the polyphony (max 9 I believe), 4 part multitimbral (vs 16 in the others), less outputs and no surround sound, and not very much physical control.
