Oh yes! I probably wouldn't have started making tunes if it wasn't for Vangelis, Bladerunner soundtrack is Legendary.

Yeah I rinsed that soundtrack as kid. I've always wanted a Yamaha CS80 Keyboard ever since I found out thats what he played most of the music on, never gonna happen.

His stuff with Jon Anderson of Yes was buff. 'Love Theme' is going to the song played at my wedding, 'Blade Runner Blues' at my funeral. Straight up Vangelis badness.

not a big fan of vangelis, i think other no name library dudes did shit with synths better but damn i love aphrodite's child. that's more due to demis though.

Got 2 of his LP's from a friend, Beaubourg and China.

Listening to China atm, amazing.
Beaubourg is very experimental but it blew me away.

He did some damn good stuff, but 'Chariots Of Fire' was awful bombastic rubbish.

Blade Runner is the obvious choice.
Some of his early stuff like the 'Apocalypse Des Animaux' is rather beautiful also.
