Third release on Eveson's fledgling art/music brand sees the label moving into more bluesy rolling territory with these two sultry slices of bass heavy goodness. 'Simply' kicks of the show with swirling keys and distant pianos, punctuated by hypnotic vocals and driving breaks that in unison, create a uniquely mournful yet uplifting atmosphere. for the sample spotters out there, the clue's in the artwork!
The stripped back 'Bittersweet' completes the package with a more laid back melancholy approach, fusing a sparse bass/breaks rollout with snapshots of female vocal, and delayed synthetic stabs.
