i went to hear benga at harper's and was impressed by the sound system. there were some technicals with the turntables later in the show, not sure if that was the club or the deejay.

my gripe about harper's that particular night was that they had the tv's on during the whole benga set. annoying and distracting. not only that, but it was a boring ass red sox game re-broadcast (!), of an earlier game. shut that shit off. just reinforces the notion that every boston bar is a sports bar. no tvs on at goodlife.
