Someone Recommend an Album to buy this afternoon......

Post by dj_quakerr » Thu Dec 24, 2009 12:32 pm

.......I'm driving home for Christmas this afternoon, when I finish work and fancy a new CD to listen to en route.

Anyone got any suggestions? I'm feeling an electronic album, doesn't have to be dubstep but I'm not feeling guitar sorta stuff today by the way.

Any comments (in the next half hour) would be appreciated.

Cheers

Anything by the flashbulb.
In particular "Soundtrack to a vacant life"

Amon Tobin - Bricolage

You will not regret buying this album. One of the best electronic peices of music I ever listened to and even though it's from 1997 it still stands up great.

Gosh I can think of loads but just looking at my ipod here goes:

Silkie "City Limits Vol 1"
Kerrier District 2
any Lone stuff
Raiders of the Arp "4" (highly recommended)
Seefeel (any stuff but try Quique Re-Edition if you can find it)

Bricolage is awesome. Wires & Snakes is one of my favourite tunes man. Fuckin' sax samples are incredible.
